I have collected dragon fruit flower (red variety) and dissected it. I want study to its flower morphological's characteristics such as style, anther, petals etc. It is very interesting to me that it's flower blooms at night and closed by dawn. The petals are white with a diameter of 12" when opened.Insect pollinators played a very important role in pollination i.e bringing the pollens from anther (male) to stigma (female ). You can image how this mechanisms work place at night.
